Crane flat cable, also known as festoon flat cable or travelling flat cable, is a specialized power & control cable built for continuously moving lifting equipment. Different from ordinary round cables, its flat ribbon structure eliminates twisting, tangling and kinking during reciprocating travel, making it the ideal power transmission solution for overhead cranes, gantry cranes, hoists and port material handling machinery.
Conductor: Fine stranded bare copper, compliant with VDE 0295 Class 5, excellent flexibility and anti-fatigue performance under frequent bending.
Insulation: Special PVC / Elastomer compound, stable electrical property.
Reinforcement: Optional galvanized steel wire embedded on both sides for extra tensile strength, suitable for long-distance suspension installation.
Outer Sheath: Modified PVC or rubber blend, resistant to abrasion, oil, moisture, UV and aging.
Core Options: 4, 8, 12, 16, 20, 24, 32 cores available, customized core cross-section upon request.
