Product Description
Insulated conductor is used for laying in electric-installation tubes, under and on plaster installation in dry rooms and in closed installation conduits. Direct laying in cable guides is not permitted. Also applied for internal wiring of distribution and switching boxes equipment, same as for protective laying for lighting of nominal voltage up to 1000 V alternating current, or up to 750 V direct current against earth.
Technical Data
Temperature range:
• During installation and application with bending: +5 °C up to +70 °C
• Fixed installed: -30 °C up to +70 °C
• At short circuit of max. 5 s: up to 160 °C
• Ambient temperature at storage: up to 40 °C (under direct sun exposure conductor surface up to 60 °C)
Nominal voltage: U0 /U = 450/750 V
Test voltage: 2500 V
Minimal inner bending radius: 4D (D = external cable diameter)
Behaviour in fire: Flame retardant (self-extinguishing) cable acc. to IEC 60332-1 / EN 60332-1 (earlier EN 50265-2- 1) / VDE 0482-332-1 (earlier VDE 0482-265-2-1, also DIN VDE 0472 part 804 test method B)
Construction
Conductor: bare copper conductor of class 1 (solid) acc, to IEC 60228 / HD 383 / DIN VDE 0295
Insulation: PVC compound TI1 acc. to IEC 60227-3 / HD 21.3 S3 / DIN VDE 00281 part 3
Conductor colour identification:
• Acc. to IEC 60446 i.e. EN 60446 (corresponding to DIN VDE 0293)
• Possible insulation colours: green - yellow (gn/ye) white (wh) grey (gy) red (rd) turquoise (tq) pink (pk) yellow (ye)
-Green - yellow colour is used only for protective conductor, and green and yellow ones are permitted only if allowed by security regulations, i.e. if they cannot get mixed up with the green - yellow conductor.
-Blue colour is used for neutral conductor, black and brown are applied for alternating current phase conductors.
